Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
OsomeDay is a daily routine app for children and their parents or guardians. This policy explains how the refreshed 1.1 app and website support form handle data. It also describes analytics used by earlier app versions.
Family Data
Family profiles, routines, task completions, mood check-ins, and reflections are stored on your devices and synced through Apple's CloudKit. The parent who creates the family owns its iCloud records. Family invitations connect other members to that shared data. We do not operate a separate server or database that stores a copy of your family profiles, routines, moods or reflections.
Advertising and Tracking
The refreshed 1.1 app contains no ads and no third-party analytics or advertising tracking SDKs. We do not use it to follow your activity across other apps or websites or build advertising profiles. Technical diagnostics and earlier-version analytics are described separately below.
Diagnostics in the Refreshed App
The refreshed 1.1 app uses Apple’s MetricKit and system logging for technical diagnostics. These record information about app performance, crashes, errors and iCloud availability. The app’s diagnostic code logs this information locally; it does not upload MetricKit reports to our own server.
This version does not include Firebase Analytics or Firebase Crashlytics. Apple’s own diagnostic sharing is governed by your device analytics settings and Apple’s privacy practices. You can read about MetricKit and Apple’s privacy practices.
Analytics in Earlier Versions
Earlier versions use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics in both Parent and Child mode. Those services process app and device details, installation identifiers, usage events and crash diagnostics, including selected errors and iCloud availability status. Updating the app does not automatically delete information already sent by those versions.
See Firebase’s privacy and data-processing information and Google’s Privacy Policy. You can contact us for help with a request concerning earlier-version service data.
Children's Privacy
OsomeDay is designed for children aged 5–12 with a parent or guardian. Parents create family profiles, set up routines, and manage invitations. Children can record their mood and reflections and share them with their family. The version-specific diagnostic and analytics practices described above also apply in Child mode.
Camera Usage
The app requests camera access to read family invitation QR codes. It does not save photos or video from the scanner.
Website Support Messages
The website is hosted on Cloudflare. When you submit the contact form, we send your email address, message, and name if provided through Resend to our support mailbox at [email protected]. We use this information to respond to your request. Support messages are separate from the family data stored in iCloud.
Third-Party Services
The app uses Apple's CloudKit for family sync and StoreKit for Premium purchases. See Apple's Privacy Policy. Earlier app versions also use Google’s Firebase services as described above. Cloudflare hosts the website and processes contact-form requests; Resend delivers support messages.
Data Sharing
Family members connect through invitations to share routines and progress. Google processes analytics and diagnostics from earlier app versions. Cloudflare and Resend process website support requests. We receive the information you include in a support message.
Data Deletion
Deleting the app removes its local family-data cache from that device. It does not remove the family's iCloud records, copies on other family devices, or information already sent to analytics, crash reporting, or support services.
Email [email protected] for help removing family data or to request deletion of support messages and service data. Please identify which data your request concerns.
Changes to This Policy
We update this page and its date when our data practices change.
